My Story
I’m running the London Marathon to support Blackstone Charity, because I believe the most powerful form of help is the one that restores dignity. It’s not just about helping someone survive today — it’s about giving them the tools to stand on their own tomorrow.
Through Blackstone Charity’s Sustainable Income Businesses programme, vulnerable individuals and families get the opportunity to build small, income-generating livelihoods. These aren’t handouts — they’re real opportunities: food carts, home-based services, market stalls, and transport businesses, all designed around each person’s skills and circumstances.
The impact is life-changing. Parents earn with dignity. Children return to school. Families can afford food, healthcare, and rent. Over time, entire communities are lifted out of poverty.
By supporting my marathon run, you’ll be helping people break free from dependency and build a sustainable future — for good. Every donation counts:
• £50 – Helps start a small business
• £100 – Funds 25% of a business startup
• £150 – Supports a woman to begin a livelihood
• £250 – Covers half of a small business
• £500 – Funds a complete livelihood
• £1,000 – Sets up a family food station
• £1,500 – Provides an income-generating vehicle
